Care & Maintenance

To help maintain the appearance and condition of your hair system:

• Detangle gently before washing, starting from the ends and gradually working towards the base.

• Use suitable shampoo and conditioner according to the hair type and base construction.

• Avoid vigorous rubbing, twisting or pulling during washing.

• Rinse thoroughly and gently blot excess water with a towel.

• Allow the system to air dry whenever possible.

• Avoid excessive heat and always use a suitable heat protectant if heated styling is permitted for your selected hair type.

• Take extra care around lace, skin and hand-knotted areas to avoid damaging the base or loosening the hair.

• Avoid excessive oils or conditioning products directly on the base, as these may affect knots, tapes or adhesives.

• Store safely when not in use to help maintain the shape and condition of the system.

Attachment & Fitting

Depending on the selected base and your individual requirements, a toupee may be secured using specialist hair-system tape, adhesive or other suitable attachment methods.

For the best fit and finish, we recommend having your hair system fitted, cut and blended by an experienced hair-system professional or barber.

Always use tapes, adhesives and removal products that are compatible with your chosen base material and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
