Care & Maintenance

To keep your synthetic wig looking its best:

  • Gently detangle before and after wear using a wide-tooth comb or synthetic wig brush.

  • Start from the ends and gradually work towards the roots.

  • Wash approximately every 6–8 wears, or when required.

  • Always use cool or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water as this can damage synthetic fibres.

  • Use shampoo and conditioner specifically formulated for synthetic wigs.

  • Gently soak and cleanse the wig rather than rubbing or scrubbing.

  • Rinse thoroughly and gently blot excess water with a towel. Do not twist or wring.

  • Place on a suitable wig stand and allow to air dry naturally.

  • Do not use a hairdryer or heated styling tools unless the individual wig is specifically labelled as heat-resistant.

  • Avoid heavy oils and excessive styling products, as these can cause product build-up.

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Everyday Wear Tips

Wearing a wig cap can help absorb natural scalp oils, reduce friction and keep the inside of your wig cleaner.

We recommend removing your wig before sleeping, as friction against bedding can cause tangling, fibre damage and changes to the original style.
