Care & Maintenance

To help maintain the smooth, straight appearance of your wig:

  • Detangle gently before and after wear using a wide-tooth comb or wig brush suitable for the fibre type.

  • Start from the ends and gradually work upwards towards the roots to minimise pulling and fibre damage.

  • Wash approximately every 6–8 wears, or when required due to product build-up.

  • Use cool or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water.

  • Use shampoo and conditioner suitable for synthetic or blended-hair wigs.

  • Gently soak and cleanse the wig. Do not vigorously rub or scrub the hair.

  • Rinse thoroughly and gently blot excess water with a towel. Do not twist or wring.

  • Place the wig on a suitable wig stand and allow it to air dry naturally.

  • Avoid hairdryers, straighteners, curling irons and other heated tools unless your specific wig is confirmed as heat-resistant.

  • Store on a wig stand or in a suitable wig bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Following the recommended care instructions will help maintain the wig's straight texture, smooth appearance and overall condition.

Tips for Everyday Wear

  • Gently comb the hair regularly to help prevent tangling, particularly around the nape and ends.

  • Avoid heavy oils, greasy products and excessive styling products, as these can cause build-up and weigh down the hair.

  • A wig cap can be worn underneath to help absorb scalp oils and reduce friction.

  • Remove the wig before sleeping to minimise tangling, friction and unnecessary wear.

  • Avoid excessive friction against collars and scarves, particularly with longer styles.
